The specialized device is placed in a vacuum state, and the film material particles are ionized by plasma discharge. These particles react with nitrogen, argon, and acetylene gas to produce metallic compounds, and a thin film of titanium compound (titanium gold) is dry-coated onto the surface of stainless steel. Compared to gold plating, this method preserves the surface of the stainless material, resulting in an elegant texture and a sense of heaviness. Additionally, since the surface is in a coated state, there are no cracks or peeling in the bent areas. The applications are vast, ranging from signage in hotels and public facilities to elevator control panels, and it is widely used as decorative plates.
